• Does it ever make sense to stockpile stationery? Maybe sometimes. (The Gentleman Stationer) ✑ A great perspective and a logical answer. Essentially you have to find a way to avoid FOMO. Then you can start making real decisions relevant to you.

• Montblanc’s Ink Conundrum (The Pencil Case Blog) ✑ A good breakdown of the costs of Montblanc’s range of inks. They are definitely going up. Personally I’d rather spend less (but more per ml) and go back to a 30ml bottle. Per-ml calculations are a neutral way of determining price but it doesn’t determine value. Value is far to subjective. An important factor into why I prefer higher price per ml to higher overall price is because I have never emptied an ink bottle! But saving that $10 is a saving of $10!

• Why I Still Use A Film Camera in the Digital Age (Rediscover Analog) ✑ Not Fountain Pen related, but I’ve been getting into photography a lot lately. One of the things I’ve yet to pull the trigger on but very much want to is a nice FIlm DSLR!
