• Ink Review: Pilot Iroshizuku 100th anniversary Inks, Bishamonten (red) and Hoteison (Dark Green) and Special Edition Ink Alert: Two Papier Plume Inks for the Chicago Pen Show (The Gentleman Stationer) ✑ I’m not a huge fan of the LE Iroshizuku’s that came out this year (I didn’t get any of them) but I find Hoteison to be nicely unique. Bad Bad Leroy Brown looks like an excellent brown.

• 4001 And Günther Wagner’s Lost But Not Forgotten Pelikan Inks (The Pelikan’s Perch) ✑ Vintage bottles and labels are so often very evocative. These are no different. I’ve got a sealed full bottle of Pelikan 4001 which was kindly estimated by Joshua to be from 1938-1940.
